Bridge City is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bridge City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. My wife and I were looking at some land in the Johnson Bayou area of Cameron Parish on Saturday, June 20, 2026 and decided to jump over the Sabine River to eat in Texas as it was an hour back to any real restaurants in LA. We were driving around Bridge City passing up one Mexican restaurant after another. Finally we found La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza and stopped for lunch. The first thing we noticed was the place was clean and friendly. JC was our waitress and she could not have been nicer if she tried. She was prompt, came to our table just the right enough times to check on us and was just all around pleasant. We each ordered our own little pizza and after they arrived to our table, we instantly liked the crunchiness of the crust as it is a light and airy crust. This pizza is so much better than the Wal Mart pizzas of Domino's, Pizza Hut and other national chains. My only advice is this, wait before taking your fist bite as I think the oven is set to Sun. If we see another location while traveling or if we are in Bridge City again, we will be stopping for some great food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. By the way, I'm pretty tough of pizza places as many of

Our server Martha at the Bridge City location was the best! She was very attentive and made sure every detail of our order was correct. She has been our server twice and now we look forward to walking in to see her smiling face. Thank you Brick Oven!

Absolutely a MUST TRY!!! I am typically not a fan of Calzones BUT I tried the marinated steak panuzzo and OMG it was amazing!!! My husband built his own Calzone and it too was amazing!!! We order Chicken Alfredo & smoked house quesadillas to take home for dinner. This was definitely a 5 out 5 and worth every penny!!! The staff was great!! The cook came to our table to explain that if I didnt include an ingredient then it wouldn't be the same so I trusted her & I'm real glad I did.

What a very enjoyable little pizza shop! This is our second visit and it did not disappoint! Delicious pizza and appetizer! We had a medium 10" Razorback with Italian sausage, bacon and pepperoni and we added black olives. It was the perfect ratio of bread to sauce to toppings! && it's brick oven baked! The Buffalo Dip is a blend of chicken, cheese, & Buffalo wing sauce. Mmm!! On my first visit, I tried it with pita bread and it was very good. Today, I opted for the bread bites. They are perfectly crunchy, lightly toasted, but still soft through the middle.
